Air Conditioning Energy Inspections 
All air-conditioning systems with an effective rated output greater than 250 kW must now have their energy efficiency assessed, at least every five years, only by an accredited Air Con Assessor. Monument Info Search Ltd. could assist you to comply with Energy Performance Building Directives (EPDB) Article 9 and the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations.The trigger for air conditioning systems inspections is the size (effective rated output) of the system not the type of building and so the cut off dates are based on the size of the systems for both Commercial and Residential properties.

The inspection will include an assessment of efficiency, a review of their sizing and advice on improvements or replacements and alternative solutions, thus saving energy and ultimately reducing CO2 emissions. Once air conditioning systems have undergone proper inspection by an Air Conditioning Equipment Assessor, building owners will receive a report testifying to the efficiency of the system. This report includes recommendations to improve the efficiency and the detailed information about the performance of the system.
